Jay has been in non-profit fund development for 22 years. Jay served as Vice President for fund development for Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, Michigan since 1984. In 1994 he created and developed the Munson Healthcare Regional Foundation. During his 22 years in fund development at Munson he was responsible for raising $33 million. Significant capital projects that he directed were $10 million for a new Emergency Department, $4.5million for the Hospitality House, $3.5 million for the Biederman Cancer Treatment Center, $3 million for the Hospice House, $1 million for the Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center, and $1 million for Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital in Cadillac, Michigan.
Jay has gained considerable knowledge in the art of fund development and now is committed to sharing that knowledge with other non-profit organizations. To this end, Jay has worked with his fund development Partner, Bob Wick, to form the consulting company of Zrimec and Wick LLC. This consulting company specializes in partnering with non-profit organizations in their fund development efforts.
Combined with his partner, Bob, Zrimec and Wick have 40 years of fund development experience and have raised more than $52 million.
